NALANI represents an excellent value in the market today. A 2-owner, freshly serviced, low hour, well cared for example of the popular Meridian 411. The layout offers an incredible amount of space for a yacht of her size, with two queen sized berths, two ensuite heads, a large galley and dinette along with a spacious salon and flybridge helm area, this yacht packs a lot in an affordable package that is economical to maintain.
Her current owners have lovingly maintained the yacht since purchasing in 2017 from the original owner. Key maintenance and upgrades should be noted and compared with other yachts you are considering.
• The main engines and generator have just received a full fluid, filter, and impellor service (9/24)
• The house and engine start batteries have just been replaced and the entire boat is equipped with maintenance free AGM batteries (9/24)
• The dripless shaft seals were replaced (9/24)
• The bottom was repainted (9/24)
• Upgraded HDTVs in main salon, primary and guest staterooms
• 3 HVAC air handlers replaced 2018/2019
Accessed through the sliding glass door from the cockpit, the main salon offers large opposing built in seating with two comfortable sofas. The port side L-shaped sofa pulls out into a double bed, while the starboard settee offers ample storage space. A media cabinet is located in the starboard aft corner of the salon with an upgraded Vizio HDTV and the main breaker panel above. An icemaker and glass storage are also accessible from the main salon.
Up one stair from the main salon, the galley is situated to port along the large side windows. With a built in microwave, refrigerator, and freezer along with a Keurig coffee maker, dual stainless steel sinks, and an electric double cooktop, it is fully equipped for entertaining and cruising. Ample cabinet storage is found throughout the galley, and NALANI comes equipped with galley essentials.
NALANI is optioned with the large dinette with wrap around seating to starboard offering comfortable seating, storage, and a nice view out the windows when seated.
The primary stateroom boasts a queen sized berth with custom bedspread, opening portlights, large storage areas, an upgraded HDTV, and access to the ensuite head.
Accessed through the owner’s stateroom, the primary head incorporates a fully enclosed stand up shower, a large vanity with storage, and a fresh-water electric flush VacuFlush head.
The VIP stateroom is accessed through a door to starboard as you arrive to the lower deck. A large queen sized berth with custom bedspread, drawer and hanging storage, good headroom and floorspace along with a seat.
Accessed ensuite through the VIP stateroom or through the hallway as a day head, the second head aboard the boat offers similar appointments to the Owner’s head, except for the separate shower.
A large aft deck allows for easy access to the side decks and flybridge with its molded fiberglass steps, along with the swim platform through a starboard access door. Storage abounds with numerous places to store fenders, lines, covers, and even deep storage through the three floor hatches. Plenty of space to setup some deck chairs and enjoy the view.
The large molded swim platform gives ample room to walk and is nicely elevated above the water. A built in telescoping ladder gives access to the water, and though no tender or davit are included, the platform would offer plenty of space to accommodate them.
NALANI’s layout maximizes the main salon seating area with its large fixed dinette in place of a lower helm station. As such, the flybridge helm is the only area to operate the boat, giving excellent visibility and full control of the vessel. The helm area includes all the necessary navigation electronics and propulsion controls including bow and stern thrusters.
The engine room is accessed by lifting the molded fiberglass flybridge staircase. Immediately you’ll find the primary battery switches and large amperage breakers. Down 3 steps you’ll enter the engine room. The two powerful Cummins diesel engines and their transmissions have been serviced, and the shaft seals replaced. Outboard of the engines are the aluminum fuel tanks (200 gal each). The Onan generator is mounted at the aft end of the engine room along with the battery chargers and inverter.
Aft of the engine room accessed through the cockpit hatches is the lazarette which houses the fresh water tank, battery banks (house bank and engine batteries replaced 9/2024), as well as access to the steering gear.
