Upon entering the salon you find yourself in a very comfortable, spacious and airy layout.   Immediate to port and starboard of companionway, you will find 2 aft double staterooms with heads.  The Starboard head is referred to as an "off shore head", she does not have a holding tank - this head pumps directly overboard.   Moving forward to starboard is an inline Nav Station and ample space for additional electronics and storage.  Large U shape dinette to starboard with a centerline seat bench, comfortable for seating 8.  Adjacent along port midship is a full galley.   Forward is a large Master stateroom with inline queen berth / full head, seating at aft corners of the bed , hanging locker and cupboard storage port and starboard along the hull.

Hull and Deck

The Bavaria 47 is built and fitted out with the best components in order to meet the demanding expectations of passionate sailors.  With sleek lines and a clean deck, she is thought out through and through to the smallest detail and functional in her handling.  

The hull is laid up with solid fiberglass, below water line and a double laminate thickness of the keel flange, adding additional safety factor in case of impact.  The floor timber is reinforced by stiff S-glass layers.   The laminate is water tight and prevents osmosis.
