2000 Sea Ray 410

Sausalito, California

$139,000

Designed for cruising and sunning, PowerBoat Guide Guide notes that Sea Ray introduced the 410 Sundancer as the replacement for the company’s popular 400 Sundancer built in 1997–99. Great styling has long been a Sea Ray trademark, and few imports can match the graceful lines and spacious interior of the 410. Built on a fully cored hull with a wide beam, the open-floorplan interior features a large bow stateroom with a full-size pedestal bed, and private access to the forward head. The mid-stateroom, which is open to the salon, has an electrically convertible sleeper/sofa, and the well-organized galley includes plenty of storage and counter space. Both staterooms have doors rather than privacy curtains, and there are two heads in this layout, one for each stateroom. Topside, the cockpit has U-shaped seating with a sun pad, table, and a full wet bar.

For engine access, the entire aft section of the cockpit sole can be raised at the flip of a switch and underway it feels like she could run forever at about 18 knots (she's also easily maneuverable in all but the worst conditions and handles beautifully in close quarters).

The 410 is one of the better Sea Rays ever built so it's not surprising the the design became one of the most successful models in the Sundancer line. She's an ideal size for cruising and entertaining family and friends, with lots of bells and whistles to impress everyone on board and this particular example shows VERY nicely inside and out.

She's also well equipped with the upgraded Cat 3116TA turbo diesels, a full suite of navigation instrumentation, super functional full isinglass cockpit enclosure, Westerbeke genset as well as the optional bow thruster and hydraulic swim platform (both of which are EXPENSIVE options!), very recently bottom painted (October 2024), much more.

However, the real story here might be location, location, location: she's lying in a potentially transferable downtown Sausalito slip; there's a long wait to get a slip in this marina so this is a material benefit if you're able to take advantage...

The Sea Ray 410 Sundancer is simply an outstanding yacht. With its fiberglass sport spoiler and overhead lighting, sky screen covers on the deck hatches and rich wood accents at the helm, the styling and quality is all Sea Ray. A custom slide and swivel helm seat with armrests keeps the captain comfortable while a Euro-styled companion bench seat and a generous U-shaped cockpit arrangement with a table and a sunpad provides abundant room for passengers. Entertaining on deck is easy with the convenient wetbar and icemaker tucked into the portside panel. As always, storage space is plentiful.

Some of the boat's standard features include a remote start generator, an electric engine hatch, dedicated aft fender storage in the transom, a Lofrans windlass, and heating and air conditioning. The patented underwater exhaust system means a quieter ride. The power of the responsive twin MerCruiser V-drives (380 horsepower each) is available at a moment's notice. Even the electronics package from Raytheon offers the confidence of a GPS 398, VHF radio and Raydata multifunction depth finder, speed and sumlog, and water temperature instrument.

Below, the cabin is designed for absolute relaxation. The forward stateroom has a full-size bed with coordinated linens, full-length hanging lockers, a mirrored rope locker bulkhead, port and starboard vanities with storage below and a private door to the forward head. This facility's complete with VacuFlush toilet, Corian countertop, sink and storage. It also has a fiberglass shower with a circular acrylic door for privacy and durability. The mid stateroom serves as an ideal conversation area when the privacy door is open. The sofa converts to a convenient double berth at the flip of a switch and the room can be closed off for extra sleeping space. The mid stateroom also has its own head with VacuFlush toilet, sink and vanity. In the salon area, there's a comfortable sleeper sofa, a dining table, floor storage and a standard entertainment center featuring a TV - VCR - radio combination. Other cabin standards include granite-look countertops, deep-pile marine-grade carpet, handcrafted wood trim, even a Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer, subwoofer, eight speakers and a cockpit remote control. Life is simple in the galley with well-organized amenities like a recessed three-burner electric stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a Spacemaker coffee maker and fiberglass countertops with a Grohe faucet. A Corian cutting board provides plenty of extra work space when placed over the sink. There's even a trash chute which keeps the trash can nicely out of sight. The 410 Sundancer offers the added security of well-crafted underwater gear, a high water bilge pump, a systems monitor panel at the helm, a halon system and more. Additional V-drive engine packages are available as well as options like a forward deck sunpad, a bow thruster and upgraded electronics.

All in all, it's hard to beat the 410 in terms of features, amenities and versatility at ANY price!
