The 57' Mckinna Pilothouse is a futuristic design incorporating lines of vessels built a decade or more later. With many upgrades and Mann engines (having around a 1000 hours) she has plenty of power for chasing as well as LRC capabilities. Her current owner did a facelift in 2018 adding custom side rails with starboard, a very nice job offering a comfortable walkaround with high 1 1/4" solid S/S rails. A custom striping package was designed to create a more current look and it worked. He also moved the dinghy to the swim step opening up the flybridge for entertaining and lowering the center of gravity, good choice! With a generous three stateroom layout, sleek design and 22knot speed she can quench all your thirsts.
It begins with three staterooms, 1 of which is a VIP stateroom having lots of locker storage, ensuite head with shower tub and queen walkaround berth, then across is twin over/under bunks. The forepeak stateroom is a queen to port with storage lockers and the guest bathroom has a shower stall also. All staterooms have tvs and air.
Leading aft to the pilothouse the steering is centerline with a small dinette to port and an awesome ships type hatch to stbd for deck access where there is the awesome CUSTOM side rail and walkaround (on both sides.). Then its up to the flybridge where there is seating for 8 easily and all new canvas and glass. Back to the pilothouse and down 3 steps is the spacious galley and salon. The aft bulk head is all glass and offers great entertainment flow to the cockpit. The cockpit is very water friendly with half covered by overhang for shade and dual steps on port and stbd for entry. In the middle of the swimstep is a bait tank and davit with tender and it leaves plenty of swim step to get around on. The bow has a spot for a cushion for sunning and windlass with foot pedals as well as a remote on bridge.
Electrical is supplied by a. 110v shorepower, a 20kw Onan generator with sound shield and Xantrex 2500 130 amp inverter/battery charger. 12v/24v provided by 8-8d Batteries. There is a Newmar GI-50 galvanic isolater and a Mariner pro sport 20 battery charger. There are 3 rule 2200 bilge pumps with float switches, 1 manual gusher and 2 high water alarms.
The Vessel went to all new Garmin last year with 12 and 14 inch screens both upper and lower station along with a new garmin autopilot, 2 Ritchie compass. Robertson Autopilot, GPH Floscans with Digital Aetna Tacs and..Glendenning Cablemaster for the shore power cord. A4 camera security system is displayed next to the steering station.
The Windlass is a Maxwell 2200 hooked to 300' of 5/16 chain and a CQR 60# S/S Anchor with foot pedals plus a remote on bridge.
